Thanks to Natalie of Cosmos Mariners: Destination Unknown for today’s stellar Q&A post. Be sure to follow her on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.

What’s your name, where are you from, and share a little about your mom or dad.
Natalie Vereen-Davis. I'm from Charleston, South Carolina, though I lived all over South Carolina during my childhood. My mom and dad are my travel inspirations--they had my younger sister and I traveling when we were very small, which is why I love to travel so much to this day! My mom is an accountant and my dad is in banking, so our trip budgets were always very carefully balanced even before we left the house.

Q&A – Lotte, Mom, & Their Phenomenal Family

Thanks to Lotte from Phenomenal Globe for today’s marvelous Q&A post. Be sure to follow her on Facebook and Instagram.

What’s your name, where are you from, and share a little about your mom or dad.
Hallo allemaal or Hello everybody in English! I'm Lotte, born and raised in the Netherlands but on a quest to explore as much of the world as possible!

I have always loved travel… From a very young age my parents have taken me and my sisters on amazing family holidays, going camping in France, road tripping around Norway, sightseeing in Italy and exploring around England. Amazing memories that I deeply cherish…

When I grew older I went on holidays with my boyfriend (now husband) and/or with friends. But I still regularly travel with my mom and dad. In fact, when looking back on 2016 I realized I made 4 trips with my parents in the last year! Yup, I love my family and I love travel and the combination of the two ;-).

Q&A – Adam & Family, The Wright Route

Thanks to Adam of The Wright Route for today’s awesome Q&A post. Be sure to follow him on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

What’s your name, where are you from, and share a little about your mom or dad.
My name is Adam Wright. I grew up in a few different countries including Brunei, Malaysia and the U.A.E. I am currently based on the Dorset coast of the UK with my wife and travel blogging partner. My parents have been based in Dubai for the past 15 years. My father is an architect and my mother a conceptual artist. They have both always loved to travel and have been to some incredible places all over the world. I don’t think they will ever slow down!

How often do you travel together?
At every opportunity. Living on opposite sides of the world means that the time we have together is precious. We have a yearly trip to join them for two weeks in Dubai every April. It’s usually a more relaxed easy-going affair, catching up with old friends and trying out new places in the ever-growing city. We also try to meet them somewhere else in the world for a bit of an adventure. So far we have explored South Africa and Jordan together, with plans to go to Sri Lanka next year.

Q&A – Karlie (aka Miss Wanderlust) & Dad

Thanks to Karlie of Miss Wanderlust for today’s fabulous Q&A post. Be sure to follow her on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

What’s your name, where are you from, and share a little about your mom or dad.
Buongiorno! My name is Karlie Marrazzo and I am a first-generation Canadian from Edmonton, Alberta. My dad, Carlo, was born in the commune of Piane Crati in the Calabria region of Southern Italy. In 1958, when he was just five years old, he emigrated to Canada with my Nonna, his sister and brother, along with several cousins, aunts and uncles. Over the years he has been a mechanic, a photographer and an educator. My mom was a lab tech in a hospital, but her true calling was writing and anything else artistic. Both of my parents instilled in me a passion to look at the world through a different lens, to observe, create and share.

How often do you travel together?
Not as often as I would like! I am an avid traveler (they call me Miss Wanderlust, after all) and my dad is content to stay in Alberta. He loves camping and I... don't love camping. We took a lot of road trips to the Rocky Mountains in Alberta and British Columbia when I was a kid. Prior to our trip to Italy, the last time we traveled together was to the Canmore Folk Festival in 2011!

Q&A – Shannon & Family, The Wanderlust Effect

Thanks to Shannon of The Wanderlust Effect for today’s memorable Q&A post. Be sure to follow her on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

What’s your name, where are you from, and share a little about your mom or dad.
Hi! I'm Shannon and I'm originally from Northern California but currently live on Anguilla in the Caribbean. I come from an international family - my mom was born and raised in Malta and my dad is half Maltese and half El Salvadoran with immigrant parents - so much of those cultural elements were naturally infused into my life. My parents did very little traveling when I was growing up, but my husband and I have shared a lot of our travel passion with them and it's beginning to rub off!

My parents have been divorced for about five years but get along extremely well so we've recently been on some incredible bucket list trips together, and it's definitely ignited their love for travel and their excitement to see more of the world. My grandma, now 91, is still fairly active and mobile and joins us as often as she's able. She spent a week traveling around Guatemala with us this year!

Q&A – Ashlyn & Mom, Finding the World

Thanks to Ashlyn of The Lost Girl’s Guide to Finding the World for today’s epic Q&A post. Be sure to follow her on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

What’s your name, where are you from, and share a little about your mom or dad.
Hi! I’m Ashlyn and I’m from Saskatchewan, Canada. I’m an avid adventure traveller and have been on the road 6 months or more of the year traveling through more than 50 countries since 2010. I’ve made it my full time career and currently freelance to keep me going. My mom, Nola, happens to be my best friend. We spend hours on the phone then hang up to call each other back because we forgot to tell each other just one more thing. She’s my biggest fan and supports me no matter what crazy things I do (like hiking 120 kilometres alone in the backcountry with no cell service in bear territory. She was worried about me but never told me not to do it!)

How often do you travel together?
We travel together as often as possible. Currently we’ve been to six continents and about 15 countries with each other. I’m in the process of convincing her to come to Antarctica with me – but honestly, she doesn’t need convincing, she's in! We’ve even got my dad and one of my brothers in on the idea too.

Q&A – Erin & Mom, World Wanderers

Thanks to Erin of The World Wanderer for today’s lovely post. Be sure to follow her on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and Snapchat (@WanderingErin).

What’s your name, where are you from, and share a little about your mom or dad.
Erin Marie Musich, New Jersey. My mom is a first-generation American, as her parents were born in Ireland. As a child, she would spend her summers living in Ireland and as a toddler, her family even moved back for a bit. While her travel throughout Ireland was relatively extensive, she had barely scratched the surface on the rest of the world. After a big European trip back in 2006, my mom is hooked on travel and her and my dad go away each summer for a few weeks. They've broadened their horizons and have even added Cambodia and Vietnam to their bucket list. I'm so amazed watching them fall in love with the world as I have!

How often do you travel together?
Not as often as I'd like. Two years ago, I took her on a winter weekend getaway to Saugerties, New York and last May, we went to France together on a Viking River Cruise.

Hi there! My name is Amanda and I'm currently residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. I'm from a pretty small town where cornfields were my neighbors. My parents have always been supportive of me slowly moving further and further away from home...because that means they get to come visit! They both love casinos, bingo (I swear they're in their 50s!), and riding their bikes for hours on the weekends.

How often do you travel together?
The past few years we've made it a point to travel together at least once a year. My sister too!
