When traveling, you never know when soap might come in handy. Perhaps you’re on a train, plane, or in a public bathroom and there’s simply no soap. Maybe the soap in your hotel room smells terrible and showering with it is out of the question.
Dr. Bronner’s has a 2-oz travel-sized liquid soap, perfect for throwing in your carry-on bag. This is no ordinary soap. You can use it on your hair, face, and body. You can even dilute it to wash fruits and vegetables. If you need to hand wash an item of clothing, it’s perfect for that as well. And it’s certified organic! Sometimes I simply use it instead of wasting all those little hotel soaps that are used once and tossed.
Since it is all natural, it doesn’t have a strong scent nor does it create a thick lather. But to me, that’s fine and these qualities are also what make it so multipurpose (like for washing fruit).
I also find it useful for traveling with mom. Invariably, she’ll want to do a little hand washing. Either she’s got a little spot from a meal or simply didn’t bring enough socks or something (in her bid to pack lightly). Dr. Bronner’s soap is perfect in a pinch.
So, for the all those little “situations” (including the crazy ones that have yet to happen), bring along a little bottle of Dr. Bronner’s. And remember to share the story of what happened with us!
