What information do we collect and how is it used?
Information You Voluntarily Submit to the Website: We may collect personal information from you such as your name or email address. For example, you may voluntarily submit information to the Website by leaving a comment or submitting a contact form.
Comments: When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
If you use our contact form, we collect and store this information in order to contact you individually according to your wishes. The stored information contains only what you send us via the contact form. We do not share our information with third parties and no third parties are involved in the collection of information.

This site uses the Slimstat plugin for analytics. IP addresses of users will never be forwarded to third parties or be evaluated for other uses.

We do not share in any way website users’ and/or visitors data actively or directly. We make use of the following plugins or services, that may keep track of visitor’s data according to their own privacy regulations: Slimstat (their privacy statement can be found here on July 13, 2018), Monarch Social Media Sharing (their privacy statement can be found here on Sept. 21, 2018). Comments also may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Except when required by law, we will not sell, distribute, or reveal your email addresses or other personal information without your consent; however, we may disclose or transfer personal information collected through the Website to third parties who acquire all or a portion of our business, which may be the result of a merger, consolidation, or purchase of all or a portion of our assets, or in connection with any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding brought by or against us.
We don’t currently engage in advertising.
Links to other websites
Our website contains links to other websites. We have no influence on compliance with data protection laws by the operators of these sites.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
How long we retain your data
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
You can request to access the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us by using our contact form. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Sensitive Personal Information
The Website does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16. If a parent or guardian believes that the Website has personally identifiable information of a child under the age of 16 in its database, please contact us immediately and we will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
